Not required but absolutely recommended if going at a busy time. Of course you can kill time in the Riverside shops until a table is ready if they're still open. Bead Here Now is great!
Hawkers do not take re servations
I strongly recommend a reservation if you have more than 2 in your party. Be sure to bring some extra money because the food is amazing and you'll want to try everything. The Roti is amazeballs.
They told me last week they do not take reservations but they encourage call aheads. Not quite sure the difference

They do not take reservations but during the week you can join a virtual wait list on their website and then just inform the host your party has arrived!
Highly recommend using call ahead. Call up to an hour ahead of when you arrive and they will prioritize you for a table. Very helpful when you have groups more than four.

Lunch not bad. Afternoon bite around 3-4ish in afternoon and waited 15 min to seat but service is great and swift.
