It has a nice paved 1.5 mile trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. It's not a traditional hiking trail that goes out into the woods.
I've ridden bikes on the trails with my family. A good "walking" place especially in spring bloom but I'm not sure there are any safe off the path areas. The woods in the area DO have animals and insects that aren't always friendly so I'm not sure about "hiking".
