The staff is always helpful, nice & patient.. even in stressful times. Took 2dogs ti get rates shots...... the young lady came out to the car & did both of their shots right there in the parking lot. Wasn't stressful at all for my dogs..

From what I have heard they are a kill shelter and right now they don't have a rescue helping them so they have to kill a lot when they are full.
$50 adoption fee. You will be required to get the dog microcipped and fixed as part of the adoption contract. There are a few animals at the shelter that may already fixed.

There is no way to answer that. The shelter gets the dogs (cats, hamsters, rabbits, etc.) that are surrendered or stray... all ages and types. The best way to know is to watch the Facebook page for updates: "Granville County Animal Shelter Friends"

If a turtle is not injured, it should be placed in a safe location near where it was found. They don't travel far during their entire lifetime, so moving them any distance (except for their safety) is discouraged.
