No they're just extremely popular and good therefore busy. The owner/ chef may not be able to get to phone also they don't take reservations so get there and put your name on the list with the other diners

Sometimes if they're slammed Sam (the owner), will ignore the phone. Lunch on Wednesday should not be a problem. I suggest calling before 8 or after 2 to confirm.
