I would suggest an appointment, especially after the holidays. Had to have one last week for my sister's car.

It would be better with an appt if you are planning to wait. Otherwise if you drop it off early they might be able to work it in that day.
I would call them first. They are usually backed up a week or two because they are good and inexpensive.
