Im trying to buy a 2003 ford expedition eddie Bauer edition but the current owner says it need exhaust system from catalytic converterto muffler because they both have holes in them. Can you give a estimate?

Hi Darnell, If it needs a catalytic converter that can be a very expensive repair. The parts behind the converter are relatively inexpensive compared to the converter. The Exhasut pipe Muffler and Tailpipe if all need to be replaced are around $400 The catalytic converter is different. We can't even give you an estimate until we see the emissions decal under the hood. If you can bring it down we can look at it and hopefully get you some good news.

I wouldn't assume more than 650.00 all brand new all the way back. The nice thing is you'll get a quality job. They stand by their work and they'll take you right under the car. You could ask the owner if you could bring the car their for an estimate. At best the person selling will then know as well.
