Can summit recommend a machine shop for my 4.0 Nissan engine that will use a rebuild kit from summit racing?

I don't think so either.

Call around to different shops and contact other car clubs. I don't know of any off hand that do imports.

My guess would be no, due to liability. My suggestion would be to go in there and just talked to some of the other customers. Everybody do is usually pretty friendly and willing to share information.
