It depends on the issue, but they are fantastic about analyzing the issue (at no cost), which takes less than a week (I believe 2 days for mine), and offering a solution and cost up front. In my case, the file directory was corrupted, which took a week and was just shy of $1000.

I was quoted $1000 for a few deleted files from a working drive. Do not use this service.

Costs and timelines range depending on not only the type of device you have, but the complexity of the recovery as well. Most consumer level removable devices such as camera cards, flash drives, & hard drives have recovery estimates ranging from a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars. Our initial evaluations are typically done within 24 hours of receiving a device (sooner if we can). Recovery timelines generally range between 3 and 8 business days once clients give us an okay to move forward. Enterprise level devices such as servers and RAID Arrays can be even more complex recoveries depending on the type of failure of course. Every case is unique, so we encourage customers to come in/call in anytime to explain their individual situation.
