You can't buy spirits any place other than a liquor store in Texas. Texas is weird.

Trader Joe's doesn't sell "spirits" only beer and wine, which are available during normal business hours.
Traders only sells beer and wine. You have to go to Specs or another liquor store for hard alcohol
You can buy beer and wine at anytime on Monday, Sunday you're unable to purchase alcohol before noon. If you want scotch you'll need to head to a liquor store. There's a Specs not far away down Park to the west.
