Open carry is legal in the State of Louisiana. It is the discretion of the business owner or management as to whether you can enter their place of business with a firearm on your hip. The owner or management CAN tell you that you cannot carry a firearm in their store or business.

I've never heard that a person can't open carry so unless i was stopped and told otherwise then I'd go for it. I'm sure if you call and ask them they'd say you can't and that's probably because people are scared nowadays but I'd be happy to have someone around in case someone evil attacked ppl. Just my opinion though
