We made reservations for 6:00 PM. Still waiting for a table almost 40 minutes later. Is this normal? Why have reservations?

Some days it's normal. They do recommend making reservations a few days beforehand

We never had a problem. They do however get very busy. But 40 mins. 😕 not good.
