They can buy your car and tow it for you. They don't buy parts from your car individually. If they do tow it, they give you less $ but then you don't have to arrange the tow yourself.
This is a self service yard. You pay an entrance fee of $2 and then you are able to go in and 'Pick & Pull' the parts you need and just pay for the parts you collected upon exit.
