Depending on what holidays are near, or if its near a weekend... Make reservations. The only time you may not need it is during lunch or monday - thursday where no holidays are that weekend.

I had no problem on Thursday getting a seat , I had a excellent experience, the food was so good , up scale place , prices were definetly worth it , the servers were very nice !
