Hi Jeremy, Joe Darr here and I own Roost Fried chicken. I am happy to answer your question. We are experiencing high business volumes but are short staffed. We are incapable of taking phone orders and in person counter orders during periods of high demand. We have hired several people in the last few days and once they are trained and comfortable we will take more orders by phone. We want to be the place that serves every customer and every customer is happy with our food and service.
This is not the first time I've experienced it either and as far as high demand I walked in and order after attempting to call four times and there was two people in line and personally watched an employee ignore the phone call and walk around the corner
