I understand your feelings... As it was explained to me by one of their staff about the same thing. Tables are assigned to waitresses and she/he was either not at work yet,on break or they had too many other tables. It made no sense to me either but their seafood is consistently good and well seasoned. I know it's not always possible but we have learned to be there at 5 and usually have no to very little wait. But still no excuse as to let a table just sit empty. As a restaurant owner myself, That's at least 80.00 on the low end if not more that just walked out the door... I just noticed the time you visited maybe it was busy that early due to the parades.. still no excuse for empty tables and waiting customers.
Robert, I apologize for the sub par service. It was a result of short staff, limited crawfish and big parties, still no excuse though. We try not skip around and sit the following numbers until we know where the big parties are going. So if you see open tables it is most likely a result of large parties, or giving a server a chance to catch up. I will continue to work with the staff and try to improve. I hope you noticed all of my employees were trying their hardest, and give us another chance. If not I'm sorry for your experience.
They were busy but there were two tables enpty, I requested a table with chair because of my back , we where there at 4:30 I wrote the review later, it's ok we went you zydeco's and it was awesome they have my business from now on.
And I feel compelled to say that the food is SUPERIOR. The front of the house is extremely poorly managed. A trade off. I guess. I think owners would do well to hire a dining room manager. However, I am also willing to bet 2 to aone odds,the owner is obligated to abunch of kinfolk. And there is no one to deal with that but the owners . A miserable situation for the owners. If you want to eat, bring your patience and your appetite . Reward for patience.
