I want to send my son to Astor to get a haircut. Is Astor still the hip place it was back in the 1980’s? Can anyone recommend a young African American stylist at Astor who is good.

It is still hip and there are many different types of Stylists so the best thing to do is to go in to the front counter, tell them what type of cut you want for your son and they will recommend somebody to you.

It's only the basement now. Walk around the shop and check the pictures the hair 'cutters' hang next to their mirrors. Pick your like.

They are all still good. You just have to find who your son is comfortable with
