We always tent camp here. It is really good for easy tent camping, as well as RV. It is coastal, so depending on the season it may be misty.

Both Morro Bay State Park and Morro Strand State Park have campsites designated for tents. At MBSP you'll need to buy tokens for showers, cost 2 for $1. Both the token machines, and the showers, don't always work, but usually do. I've learned the hard way to bring a gallon jug of water with me to rinse off soap when they quit mid-stream. GL! PS: my cat caught a gopher at MBSP and brought it inside our trailer. I was so proud of him, you'da thought my son had been accepted into Stanford!

Tents are permissible. There are oceanfront sites as well as Oceanside sites. RV sites are available with full hookups. Tent Sites are $35 per night Hookups $50....both with $2 off for seniors 62 plus.
