Are you able to return something with a receipt bought with a debit card for cash

I used a debit card and returned with a receipt and was able to get cash being the debit card was a temporary one.. and was no longer active

Money goes back to card, in some places it may take up to 24hrs for it to get back on

I did return some close back in this walmart they returned the money to my bank card and it was available right away good service
