Pleasantly surprised. As this was my first time visiting I gave the initial greeting a pass. I've passed this spot many times and was grateful for the opportunity to finally see if Butter has the Butter. I ordered a ribs, macaroni and cheese, and candied yams platter. Again, I'm often hesitant to share about soul food spots as it can depend on the day but today Butters was on. Everything was good, the ribs tender, Mac and cheese was cheese and the yams were just right. From reviews others thought the platter was small, I think the portion was just right. Meal was under $20 and came with tea. I would go again.

This was my first time here with The Golden Girls. The tea was very good. Thank you. I was surprised that the food was warm and not hot. I guess you use take out containers all the time? Cornbread was good. We waited an hour for our food. So the group was ready to go when the food came. The employees were very courteous. I ordered the smothered pork chop, rice and gravy, yams, Cornbread and banana pudding. Much success with your restaurant. Juanita Nassardeen
