It is hit and miss at Lucky's somethings are great bargains, like yesterday I bought a 24 pack of Spring Water for $1.88 with a coupon, which is a great price as well as many other items. It used to be Safeway was a lot cheaper, but lately their prices have really gone up! Plus the store is so huge and the lines are so long I think I'll switch to Lucky's it is much more manageable, as far as not taking 2 hours to get in and out. Cheaper too!
The bagal shop has all kinds of bagals they are made with hard wheat flour.

This lucky is a much smaller market than Safeway and must stock what's necessary for business. However there is a bagel shop 2 doors near 41st.
Like Mike said. Costco Bagels are cooked fresh everyday and are a bargain. Luckys are hit and miss.

The only grocery stores i see here in California are monopolized. You would probley have more luck checking out there dumpsters they throw more than you would believe. Or ask the bakery for a special order.
