Goodwill does not purchase items. It is donations only.
No, but if you donate the brand new item they can resale it & the customer can purchase that item. Most of the money goes to the less fortunate and good reasoning while their sales on items are usually at low pricing and may have days they're lower than that if they received a outstanding large amount to move them on to make room for more in the future. I had purchased a coffee pod drawer that was brand new it was lower than $5. Usually they have the price ranges marked on sign to specify & make it easier for the customer & if they deem it should be higher or lower because of this reasoning is size mass or weight or details of item that would make the price range differ than usual.
