It all depends on the type of controller i.e. is it a special edition, does it have a rechargable battery pack or if is it just the standard that comes with the console. The price also depends if you are a pro card member and if you are, what level your membership is will affect the price you will be offered. Another factor will be if you want cash or trade credit. You will get less if you want cash and if you want to trade it for something else in the store (it doesn't have to be another controller) you will receive a higher value for it. You can check online to see what you would receive but it's best to go to the store to see what they can give you for it because the condition of the controller is also going to affect the price. I used to work here, so I know that there's all the things that can make a difference in the price you will get.
Call your local gamestop store, or you can visit their online website and type it in under the trade value. It will usually tell you how much the valve of it is.. Hope this helps.
