my parents in there 80's can no longer take care of the 12 year old male indoor cat. Would like him to go to a good home or up for adoption. What can they do.

Contact DHA to see what they recommend.

You could turn the cat in if you cannot find a new home for him yourself.

The best course of action is to call and schedule an appointment. DHA can potentially take the cat and adopt it. They are very interested in the well being of all animals they intake.
