They like you to have an appointment so that an adoption counselor is available to work with you. People occasionally stop in and can be seen if they have a counselor to do an appointment with you. Best to call.
Where is the shelter. Do i need an appt. Can i get the animal then, if we click.
Thanks for asking Sherri! Main Line Animal Rescue's adoptions are run completely by volunteers, so everyone has different schedules and come in to meet with families who have appointments. If you stopped in there may not be anyone there to show you the animals up for adoption. The best way to come to meet the animals is to go on our website, take a look at all of the animals that are available and fill out the online application. A volunteer will call you and schedule a time to meet and they will be available to you for however long you'd like to visit. https://www.mlar.org/adoption-overview
