If you have a regular membership, the cost to upgrade is prorated based on the time you have left on your membership. If you have the Sams Club app, you can find this cost by choosing to upgrade from the options button on the upper left of the page.
Plus memberships are $99/year. Groupon usually has all memberships on sale.
