They grow oyster mushrooms...buttery, tender...heavenly. They are self sufficient and so are caretakers of the property. Much time is set aside for prayer meditation and community. Some of the brothers are deeply involved in community and spiritual programs...and much more.
They do a lot to maintain the buildings and grounds. They have an awesome mushroom growing facility. The local restaurants buy them.
They perform a variety of different tasks. The compound is self-sustaining.
