Every campground has their own rules but in general you must be active duty, retired military, national Guard or in the Reserves, military dependent/spouse or 100% disabled vet due to duty. Generally active duty and retirees take precedent over Guard and Reservists. Busier campgrounds such as Charleston tend to have more restrictions.
You have to be active duty, reservist, retired or a disabled vet. Retired DoD can go to many military parks as well. Do you have a dependent Military ID? Basically if you can get on base you can usually get a reservation at the RV Park.
