90 Octane is ethanol free.. Zero ethanol in 90 rec at our location. We asked the DEC and Sunoco Company.
All gasoline brands have both pure and ethanol-containing gasoline under the same brand names. For example, some range from 91 to 93 octane both with and without added ethanol. It just varies from station to station, and it's up to the station owner whether or not to sell pure gas. Though pure gas may give you better mileage, it still has the most emissions, plus it will be harder and harder to find until non exist at all and can be very expensive.
Usually, 91 and above at the pump is ethanol free. But the person above me is 100% correct. Sometimes, you can find the button listed Rec Fuel on the 90...but even that, usually contains 10% ethanol....which does not help me or my snowmobile.
Ethonal free gas is brand not grade. Hope this is helpful
