Why is the salvation army turning people away if they don't have $200 dollars upfront for a bed. These people are homeless broke, and at a breaking point.

It's about the money$$ at Salvation army. The lead case worker is a iron maiden. Everyone is intimidated by her that works there. Guaranteed no help and respect and compassion during your stay. Go Crossroads for some help and get out of there.

They don't care! They're greedy for money and if/when you do get a bed, they start picking on you and harassing you! They are NOT concerned about you, PERIOD. AND correction the upfront fee is $300! Now you do the math. 🤨
