OK if a family member comes over to my house and wants to visit someone but he was uninvited and tried to force his way in my house and I stopped him by pushing him down the stairs to keep him from entering my house Can he file a claim against me

I'm not sure.. if they where ask to leave and didn't, I think you can do a trespassing, but I'm not sure how it goes because of pushing down the steps. I'd of called the cops
