I went in last week to register a vehicle I purchased. There was a surge of customers when I got there, but man this tag office is efficient! They quickly processed the line, and I did not have to wait long. Once it was my turn, I was served with efficiency, professionalism, and kindness from Rhonda Sheats. There was a slight issue with my insurance binder not being in the online system yet, but Rhonda was great with helping me contact my insurance agent and having him email it directly to her. This is the most recent of a handful of good experiences at this tag office. Great job!

I went today to register a new vehicle and get a tag for my current vehicle. The lady who helped me(I wish I would have gotten her name), was so nice! Customer service couldn't be better!

Most of the time I come here I wait just a couple of minutes and am helped by very nice courteous ladies. Sometimes there’s a long line to get to talk to those ladies. I haven’t figured out the pattern of when there’s a line and when there isn’t. I really wish when they built this big new building with our property taxes they’d put a waiting area and number system like the DDS has. Or even better I wish it wasn’t in this building so we wouldn’t have to get searched before coming in to pay our taxes to pay for the building and the deputies who search us.

Yes. And they will mail decal to address that car is registered to
No. Walton county doesn't require emissions
I think you will have to contact DMV
Insurance binder, bill of sale, car title, valid driver's license and valid form of payment

No only Monday to Friday. Normal government hours
It took mine about 2 to 4 weeks.
If you already have the plate then yes otherwise you have to go in
Theres a form on the website that will give an estimated amount, mine was fairly accurate
You can go to the front of the line, if it be just a few minutes
45 days before the birthday.
If you live in Walton, you must get a VIN plate so it can be registered. Once you get the paperwork, it can be inspected at the Government Ctr., Or you can call S. O. Out to your house
Go to main office with proper paper work.
Inactive?....guess it also could mean "Not in use"
The tag office can tell you anything you need to know, just call them tomorrow.

Kroger in Loganville, the one at Hwy 81, has a kiosk for renewing tags. It's beside customer service desk. I use it every year. It's so easy!!
