I've never had reservations the times I've been there.
I've never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes and didn't have a reservation (didn't even know they took them). You can go to the beer wall while waiting for a table, the hostess will give you a band.
Maybe there's a wait on a busy night like Friday, but it's never long enough where you would feel the need to make reservations unless your party is large.
You do not I normally just go in and get seated pretty quickly but I also normally just go to the bar. But its a pretty chill place you shouldn't have any issues
