This is obvious but for the select few It is called a 1/4 pounder because it weighs 1/4lb before it's cooked & a deluxe sandwich has lettuce and tomato added along with the regular ketchup, mustard, onion & pickle and the quarter pounder is about 2.4 ounces more meat & the 1/4 lb has sesame seeds on the bun.

Deluxe has lettuce tomato mayo that regular Quarter Pounder does not
