I would say no, it would likely be too challenging.
We went with 6 adults, a 12 year old and a 10 year old. We did not finish, had one more clue left. I would say the Greek God room is certainly too difficult for a 12 year old birthday party.
No it's not good for anyone. It was not a good experience for us. It is a very small room with only a few riddles to figure.
There are different difficulty levels and themes. Just make sure it's one that makes sense for the interests and intellects of the group.
