Avocados grow in warm climates. Our avocados generally come from Mexico, California, Florida etc. I go to Whole Foods for avocados.
I don't think they grow them because they are a tropical fruit. They may stock them. Try calling them directly. Shop Rite and Stop and Shop sell avocados, so they are another option
