Good places to eat close by, are there any??

Yes, Cattleman's is across the parking lot (we ate almost every meal there), there's an Italian place down the way that looked good (but no liquor), and several places associated with hotels. Within five miles there are at least a dozen decent places, mostly $$$ or less. Daytime bartender at Cattleman's is sweet, knows everybody and will be helpful

Try out Local Feed in downtown Georgetown! Also Fava's is a good hometown favorite!
