Dumbarton Oaks is property of Harvard University and is managed by the Trustees of Harvard University. It is a museum, gardens, former mansion, a present-day research library, collections and international research center in the humanities (Byzantine Studies, Ore-Columbian Studies and Garden/Landscape Studies). Anyone interested in doing academic research in these areas and who holds a graduate level degree is welcome to apply.
