We did a motor boat tour, not an airboat. An airboat would be too fast and noisy! The guide took us down small quiet waterways to see alligators up close and personal. He softly and gently beached the boat about 10 feet from a dozing alligator that was at least 12 feet long and the gator never moved. Everyone got great pictures. We did reservations but some people just walked up. It is best to call.
