The bathrooms are small because the house originally only had one bathroom upstairs. A second half bathroom was added in the late 70s or early 80s in what was originally a closet under the main staircase.

I had no idea! That’s very interesting to learn. The suite we stayed in was really nice and well maintained including the bathroom and jacuzzi area.

All the other bathrooms were added when they converted the house to a B&B from a family home. This was my mother's family home. Many generations of Baldwin's were born and raised here. I spent my childhood visiting my grandparents here and loved the place. Unfortunately, it's not the same as it was then. The addition is just too big and gaudy for me and doesn't fit. I'm sure it's a wonderful place to stay and the service is great. I just have my memories of how it was and don't like the changes.
