I went to one spot already and they were an interventional place and wouldn’t even consider helping me with my medication, I’m just trying to make sure that this establishment isn’t the same and actually help prescribe you medication when you need it and not offer injections and pumps
This practice has several doctors that provide different treatments. Dr. Beg does medication management. I've been a patient for nearly 5 years and can attest to the professional caring services.
I came from Alaska, they had some of my med recs and though I went to the appt with Dr Beg, a neurologist, I was given 3 dx that made sense only from a billing POV, and the two new bad issues I presented with were ignored. MRI (no contrast) & EMG ordered but ? When, where?? We're ordered for wrong body parts anyway. Meds? 17 yrs, successfully TX'd with narcotics by physicians in AK (same docs) were ignored. Treated like a child though I'm a medical anthropologist & was in full blown "detox" due to 2yr new FL law. Immediately put on addiction controls - UA, 10 days of Suboxone, if my UA is "clean" then they'll call in rest of month. No idea what doc is looking for in UA but had given all meds taken. Verified with doc back home too! BE PREPARED TO BE TREATED LIKE A LYING JUNKIE BY DOCTOR. But don't feel bad, to the "pain doctor" EVERYONE is an addict! OR so his behavior, body language & speech indicated to me. But his nurse, scheduling person & new patient counselor were great! GL!
Terry Licia: They aren't so cruel, but due to the laws here in FLA, they do have to verify your medical records. You should've had your physician in Alaska send them your records BEFORE your appt.
