Perhaps because most of Latin America and some of the Caribbean are Roman Catholic and the population obviously is more Hispanic than non Hispanic. What large gathering of any type in the US doesn’t have a bilingual option or translation available? Religion is about reaching the people and if the people speak Spanish, it is in their best interest to accommodate that. Mosques have translations and full services in Spanish. A gentle reminder that the US doesn’t have an official language.
