I've been in both the XD and normal seating theatres, and they both have recliners. XD has ones with more settings, but in my opinion they all provide the same level of comfort. (If you don't care about the increased sound quality XD offers, I recommend getting normal seating in a theatre with d-box seats. The rumble features they have on those seats can be felt all the way to the back and it really adds to the movie. Black Panther was AWESOME that way.)
