Hello Tim. I am also a gentile Christian who attends Shaarei from time to time. I will say, I love this congregation and they have something you just don't have in protestant churches. Their worship is the real deal. That being said, and above all else, I would recommend experiencing it for yourself. However, I came to realize I would never be one of them and that has to be ok. We can worship together and praise God in authentic and meaningful ways. We can have community, which I look for excuses to do things with them, but they are here to bring Jews who don't know Yeshua into their fold and not necessarily Gentiles. I say these things as objectively as I can, with no intention of creating a rift between me and people of Shaarei. I also do this knowing I am found out by making this response to your inquiry. My wife identifies more with Shaarei, as well as our children, than our own church on Dillard. We're Seventh day Adventist but we love coming here, and will continue doing so.
