I got my vehicle inspection at KwikKar in Frisco. 2 days later, the inspection does not show up on the dps site, and getting my tags at Tom Thumb did not work. They advised me to take all my documentation to the Tax office as next step. Correct?

Yes, most likely there may be a NTTA block on it. The best thing to do, if you financially can is Pay off your balance and you can get everything done in one day. The Tax office closes at 7:30pm on Wednesdays just and fyi. And close at 5 Monday, Tues, Thursday, Friday
