Yup no swimming till the repairs the the damn are done and they keep postponing the date

Water level us low due to a dam problem down stream. Not recommended to swim in area where water remains due to weeds and tow
We used to. But the water has been drained out. Swimming used to occur predominantly by the boat launch between the playground and wooden walk way.
You could swim but it would be difficult I'd recommend going to Watauga lake for the time being until the dam is fixed. Going to be about 5 years until they are finished up.
There is not enough water to swim in!!
