I don't know, on my visit on October 8th it was open. Maybe there was a part that broke, after all it was packed 24/7 with a line almost out the door, so weight over time might have damaged it. Other than that, I have no idea.
The mr freeze is closed for the rest of this 2017 season.. Because it broke and the last time people got on it they got stuck real stuck... So they shut it down for this 2017 season... And plus it's also shut down for Christmas...
It's getting too cold for anyone to be on Mr. Freeze right now especially at night so they closed it down for the remainder of the 2017 Season

For some reason they seem to close Mr. Freeze every year for Holiday in the Park.
The SFOT Holiday in the Park website lists a few rides that are typically closed during the holidays and Mr Freeze is one of them.
