If I was you I'd buy your own personal modem that way they don't get a residual monthly fee on you. Then I'd buy a separate wireless router. Go buy a modem that's compatible with Xfinity Broadband configuration. There's many out there! All you have to do is give them the MAC address. Then I would buy a separate wireless router that can handle your speed. Two separate devices. Do not have one device that does both. It'll cost you a couple bucks prior but I'll save you money on your bill and Xfinity getting richer off us with their high prices. I have the same configuration I'm talking about and I don't have any problems and my internet wirelessly is super fast even faster than the Xfinity modem. Your call.
