If not recliners, what type of seats are there? Are they comfortable or are they the old stadium type?

Seats aren't stadium type at all. They're normal cushion seats like Travis said. The only time super comfortable Cadillac type seats are available are when a movie is shown in the Dolby Digital Theater.
