You really need to be a knowledgeable food shopper to take advantage of potential savings. You should be familiar with your regular grocery store prices. I've seen prices on stuff here that are the same or higher than my local Winn Dixie and then this stuff is expired or close to it. Check your weekly grocery store chain's circular and even bring it with you. Sometimes this store is way off on the high side and having a comparison is good to have. Buyer beware is appropriate when shopping here. On another note stay away from frozen foods that were marketed as a spicey version of a product. It's there because it didn't sell well in the regular store probably because it was too damn hot.
They have good price for everything and I love it better than Winn-Dixie or rouse
Not much for fresh, but prices are good. It's a gotta see for yourself kind of place and does not carry some things regularly, so if you find something you know you'll use, stock up.
This place has phenomenal deals on most things. Some things aren't really discounted. Usually I stop here on my way to another major grocery store, see what I can find. I've bought an entire cart of groceries for under $70! You likely won't be able to find everything on your list but it's worth a stop.
I found out that yellow tags are even further discounted. Just remember to check dates, and to freeze or use immediately.
Think Tuesday Morning of food. You never know what's available until you get there. Walk in with an open mind and bring cash so you can stay within your budget. 😉
Look for the green signs as they are manager specials. I got black olives slightly dented cans for .59cents $2 savings! A case of yogurt $2. Sometimes I plan a meal by what produce they have available. .10 cent bell peppers and cheap tomatoes made my fajitas taste even better! $1 10lb bag of potatoes made for lots of potato salad!

Yes the values are amazing. The food in some cases should be prepared quickly because some of there products are close to the sell by dates.
I love the store but you have to realize the values offered are due to the store selling at salvage store prices due to their items not being fresh but the items are always good and a great value at the prices they offer!
