It has been over 25 yrs since I have been to the museum but could be heading that way next weekend.I was wondering though, is the room with the Presidential plates still there? I haven't seen any pictures of that area. I do remember that ship though.

Hi Brenda, thank you for your interest in returning to visit the Corning Museum of Glass! To answer your question, in 1989, we had a Special Exhibition on display: Dining at the White House: two centuries of Presidential tableware – I believe this is the exhibition you are referring to. Unfortunately, as it was a special exhibition, it is no longer on display. We do have one smaller display case that features a selection of Presidential Glassware in the American Glass section of our 35 Centuries of Glass gallery space. We have added many new pieces and have opened new gallery spaces since your last visit, so there will be a lot of new things for you to see when you visit. We hope to see you soon!
